The Asian food restaurant that used to be here had some really over-salted miso soup. It wasn't very good. If you think about it, coffee is a sort of bean broth.
Anyway, the drive thru is convenient and pretty fast when the line isn't too long. -

So I have never reviewed a Starbucks before because they all seem exactly alike- In fact it's like they did it on purpose so you always feel like you are in familiar territory. This one gets a special shout out though because the barista was so gosh darn nice!
It's also much more open than some other SBs so you can sit and work without feeling like someone is breathing over your shoulder. -

I like how Starbucks is starting to do samples. It's nice to try their newer menu items without committing to a full serving and then not liking it. The only gripe I have is that they installed code locks on the bathrooms. I get that they have to clean them and sometimes the homeless will use them but come on.

Anyone who has seen and/or read my posts on Coffee shops knows one of my biggest pet peeves is there is never any comfortable chairs to sit and chat and visit with your friends. This place actually has a comfortable seating area along with the typical hard tables and chairs. My challenge still is the way the sitting is placed. When you go to sit, your in a small area with 3 strangers and I feel I have to sit next to my friend in order to hear them, rather than across the room. There's a patio outside and the usual menu.
Anyway, maybe Starbucks is finally hearing that some of the customers are already graduated (3X since H.S.) I just wanna sit and visit with my colleagues and enjoy my coffee!
Now, There's another new location that looks inviting out in Oro Valley, I cant wait to check that out one out next.
